  • Boycotting Olympics

    Nevermind that I don{t have ready access to TV, but I feel like Chinese government needs some time to reflect...

    Despite violent protests in Tibet, China remains steadfast in its plan to take the Olympic torch to Tibet and Mount Everest.

    [Already, China and the Olympic organizers have also had to deal with criticism over China’s continuing relationship with Sudan. China buys the majority of Sudan’s oil and has supplied most of the weapons in the bloody conflict in Darfur. Hollywood director Steven Spielberg quit his role as the artistic adviser to the opening and closing ceremonies because of China’s involvement with Sudan. [

    violent protests are everywhere, how come the international community don't seem to reflect so loudly about the independence war in ireland? i just dont think people should turn the olympics into a political event ...

    plus ... i got tickets already, i dont want my money wasted :P
